Strasbourg, an ordinary day

Web developer.
Part-time robot
wrangler.

My name is Hugo Scheer. I build custom WordPress and React websites, and automations, for businesses across Alsace. Scroll down: here are 24 hours in the life of your project.

The day starts below

Act one, the day

How a project travels, from 9 am to 5.30 pm

  1. 09:00

    The brief

You tell me what you need. I ask the right questions from the start, so nothing unpleasant turns up halfway through.

  2. 11:00

    The mockup

You see your site before a single line of code is written. This is the moment to adjust: at this stage, every change is simple and costs nothing extra.

  3. 14:00

    The code

A WordPress theme or a React and Next.js application, built to measure, with no page builder and no pile of plugins. The result: a site that is fast, stable and made to last.

  4. 17:30

    Live

Your site is online, with every account in your name. How you edit your own content is settled in the quote, project by project. On my side, I keep the site running and working for search.
