Boutique CBRebuilding a WooCommerce shop for an Alsatian wellness brand

Maison Camille Becht sells massages at home, gift vouchers and its own range of treatments. I am rebuilding its shop from scratch on WooCommerce: a bespoke theme, product pages rethought, search worked page by page.

The context

Maison Camille Becht offers massages at home across Alsace, gift vouchers and a range of treatments made in the region. Its online shop already existed, on WooCommerce, but it mixed three ways of selling: a treatment is booked, a gift voucher is given, a product is shipped. The project started in August 2026, on the theme I had written for the same company's consultancy site. I am running all of it, from the design to the payment. The shop is on staging, the launch has not happened yet.

The goals

  • Sell three very different things in one shop, treatments at home, gift vouchers and products, without losing the customer
  • Keep the ground already won on Google while the addresses change
  • Give the team pages they edit on their own, as on their consultancy site

The answer

The shop's theme takes the consultancy site's foundation: same colour tokens, same ACF blocks, same locked editor. What changes is WooCommerce. The templates for the shop, the product page, the basket and the account are rewritten to match the design, with no parent theme and no layout plugin.

Every product page reads how the product is used: a treatment or a gift voucher sells one at a time, with no quantity field, and points to its twin (« Envie de l'offrir ? » towards the gift card, and the other way round). Search was worked before launch: keyword research, a title and a description for every page and every product, eighteen product addresses renamed with their redirects, duplicate archives kept out of search.

What I delivered

  • A bespoke WooCommerce theme, derived from the consultancy site's theme, with no page builder
  • Product pages suited to each use: a treatment or a gift voucher sells one at a time, a product sells by quantity
  • A practitioner area with its own catalogue
  • Card payment through Stripe
  • The SEO: keyword research, a title and a description for every page and every product, new product addresses and redirects from the old ones
  • A staging copy, kept out of search, to approve everything before the switch

Before and after

The previous Camille Becht shop, a grid of WooCommerce products under a « Boutique » banner
The new shop, a full-page photo of a massage and the words « Un massage chez vous »

Frequently asked questions

Why rebuild a shop that works?

Because it sold three different things the same way. A treatment is booked, a gift voucher is given, a product is shipped. When the page does not make the difference, the customer hesitates, and hesitating online means leaving.

Do I lose my search ranking by changing shop?

No, if the change is prepared. Every old address redirects to the new one, every page keeps or improves its title and description, and the new shop stays invisible to Google until it is ready.

What does an online shop cost?

A shop with fewer than 50 products starts at €4,000 excl. VAT. Beyond that it is quoted, from €8,000 excl. VAT. The price depends on the number of products, the payment and delivery methods, and the content to produce.

Can I add products myself?

Yes. You create a product in WooCommerce as before, with its photos, its price and its stock. The theme handles how it looks. I show you how it works on launch day.
