You drop in up to 50 images, you pick the format and the quality, you get a file or a ZIP back. The work runs in your browser, nothing is sent anywhere.

Safeguards
No image is stored, during the conversion or after it. The account only serves the quota and the billing.

Are my images sent anywhere?
No. The conversion happens in your browser, on your machine. No file passes through a server, during or after.
Why convert to WebP or AVIF?
Because those are the formats browsers display fastest for the same visual quality. A lighter page loads faster, and Google takes that into account in its ranking.
Do I need an account?
Not to start with: 20 conversions a day without signing up. An account raises the quota, through a monthly subscription with no minimum term, or gives access to the API.
Why build this tool?
To prepare the images for the sites I deliver without going through a third party. I wanted something simple, free for everyday use, that keeps nothing.
