The context
Piscines d'Alsace is a pool builder based near Strasbourg: concrete and fibreglass construction, renovation, liners, saunas and spas, maintenance. The site had to show every service, the recent projects and the catalogue of fibreglass pools it distributes, with a clear path to a quote. I wrote all the code for the site, from the design to the launch, in three weeks of development. The client provided the text and the photos.
The goals
- Present every service, from a concrete pool to a cleaning robot, on its own page that can be found on Google
- Show the catalogue of fibreglass pools and the completed work, to build desire before the quote
- Let the team add a model or a project without a developer
The answer
The site runs on WordPress and on a theme written for it, with no page builder: the content types, the templates and the listings are all in the theme. Content that repeats has its own type: a pool model, a service, a completed project. The team adds a model or a project by filling in a form, and the page builds itself. The models are sorted by pool shape, flat or sloping floor.
Eleven services have a page each, named after what people actually search for: renovation, liners and reinforced membrane, heat pumps, covers and enclosures, cleaning robots, saunas and spas. Every page ends on the quote request.
What I delivered
- A theme built to measure, with its page templates
- A catalogue of thirty fibreglass pool models, sorted by shape
- Eleven service pages, one per service
- A gallery of completed work
- A quote request form
Frequently asked questions
Is a site worth it for a trade business?
A pool builder sells a job worth tens of thousands of euros. The customer compares, looks at previous work and searches for the company on Google before calling. A site that shows the work and answers the questions makes the difference at that moment.
Why one page per service?
Because people do not search for « pool builder » but for « pool renovation Strasbourg » or « pool heat pump ». One page per service answers each search with the right content, and gives Google a reason to show it.
What does a site like this cost?
A brochure site built to measure starts at €2,500 excl. VAT. The final price depends on the number of pages, the features asked for and the content to produce. You get a fixed quote before we begin.
Who provides the text and the photos?
You, for what only you know: your projects, your prices, your photos. Me, for the structure, the headings and the text that presents the company. We agree the list at the start, so that nothing stalls halfway through.
