The context
Happy Me Sport is a personal trainer based in Alsace. Her idea: sport as a source of pleasure and health, not as a punishment. She wanted a site that shows that energy and sets out her four programmes clearly: one-to-one coaching, group classes, corporate sport and nutrition. And above all, one where her clients could book a session without writing to her.
I built the site on my own in 2020, in about a month. It is a project from before I moved to writing themes by hand: WordPress with the WPBakery page builder. I no longer build sites that way, but this one is online, up to date, and I have looked after it since launch.
The goals
- Give each programme its own page, from one-to-one coaching to corporate sport
- Let people book a session from the site, without a back and forth by email
The answer
The site runs on simple pages: the home page, the programmes with one page each, the booking, the coaching tips, a challenge, the contact. Every programme page follows the same template, so the coach can add an offer without starting over.
Booking is built into the site. The tips are an ordinary blog: the coach publishes there on her own, on sport and nutrition.

Frequently asked questions
Does the coach update the site herself?
Yes for the content: tips, programmes, prices. The rest, WordPress and plugin updates, backups and fixes, is mine, as part of the maintenance.
Why WPBakery rather than a theme built to measure?
Because in 2020 I built my sites with a page builder. The site still holds up and the coach uses it every day, but I no longer work that way: a site I deliver today runs on a theme written for it.
What does a site like this cost?
A brochure site with booking starts at €2,500 excl. VAT. The exact price depends on how many pages there are and which booking tool is chosen.
